Founded in 1983, Asia Gemological Institute and Accreditation Institute (AGIL) is the oldest professional gemological laboratory in Hong Kong. The Asia Gemological Institute insists on not dealing with jewelry, with the motto of "loyalty, clarity, truth-seeking, innovation", rigorous study, scientific attestation, serving the jewelry industry. The Asia Gemological Institute is the first in Hong Kong and has been awarded the Professional Gemological Appraisal Office (HOKLAS 151) by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Accreditation Service.
